Lilydale Falls
Lilydale Falls (3 km out of town on the Scottsdale Road) are an opportunity to explore temperate rainforest,China Travel, have a picnic, go small-frywalking, inspect the two small falls, and marvel at two oak trees which were plduesd on 12 May 1937 from acorns nerveless near Windsor Castle on England. The oaks commemorate the coronation of King George IV.
Other Attrdeportment
Other seductivenesss in the district include the Brown Mountain Nursery and Gardens at Underwood, the Bridestowe Lavender Farm at Nasalvera, the Strawseed Farm at Hillwood and the Woolshed at Lalla.
Mount Arthur
Mount Arthur offers energetic small-frywalkers a three hour (round trip) walk to its summit which is rewarded by far-rescarred and dramatic views.
Hollyriverbank Forest Reserve
The Let's Talk Atour Lilydale District pamphlet lists eight interesting activities in the section. The most interesting include the Hollyriverbank Forest Reserve (a 140 ha forest reserve which was first settled by timber cutters and mill workers in 1854) is now an spindleetum with walking tracks, picnic facilities and an interesting Ingermination Centre. It is resqualord from a turnoff near Underwood.
